WELCOME TO MAINE SILVERBALL TAVERN
Part Arcade, Part Bar, and One Heck of a Great Time!

Step into a world of pinball wonder at Maine Silverball Tavern, where you'll meet the Tavern Keepers, Don Viger and Jim Farris.
They're lifelong pinball enthusiasts and proud co-owners, on a mission to to share their joy (and occasional frustration!) for the silverball with everyone—from first-time players discovering the thrill of the game to seasoned veterans chasing high scores.
Don and Jim created Maine Silverball Tavern as a place where community, nostalgia, and friendly competition come together.
A place where flippers rule, bumpers shine, and everyone feels like a kid again (yes, even if you’re holding a pint in one hand).

At Maine Silverball Tavern, you’ll find a lineup of vintage legends and shiny new machines, all handpicked by Don and Jim. But the real fun? Meeting the guys behind the magic.

Meet Don -
Don is the fixer, the tuner, and the guy who can bring a pinball machine back from the dead with little more than a screwdriver and sheer stubbornness. He’s been playing since games were 25¢ (and swears some of his best scores were on machines older than he is). When he’s not chasing a spot on the Stern leader board, you’ll catch him swapping stories at the bar or convincing first-timers that “just one more game” is always a good idea.

Meet Jim -
Jim is the strategist, the competitor, and the self-proclaimed king of multiball (though Don might dispute that title). He’s the guy who thrives on high-score chases, tournament nights, and helping people learn new pinball skills to improve their game. Jim believes pinball should always come with a side of fun and laughter—preferably while holding a craft beer and heckling Don about his last ball drain.

Together, Don and Jim have built Maine Silverball Tavern into more than just a bar—it’s a celebration of pinball, friendship, community, and fun.
So grab a drink, pick a machine, and join the fun—the Tavern Keepers are ready to welcome you.
